Dr Annelize Barnard is a Gynaecologist with a passion for woman-centered care. She believes in empowering women with the knowledge they need to make confident decisions about their own health and wellbeing. Dr Barnard completed her pre- and postgraduate degrees at the University of Stellenbosch, where she is still active as lecturer and consultant Gynaecologist in the Minimal Access Gynaecological Surgery unit. Her field of interest is in the management of endometriosis and pelvic pain as well as pelvic floor disorders. Her particular skill set is focused on the management of benign Gynaecological conditions with minimally invasive laparoscopic and hysteroscopic techniques. She is well recognised in this field and serves as a board member for both the South African and International Societies for Gynaecological Endoscopy.
